Summer Jam Music Festival – July 5, 2025
The Downtown Hayward Wisconsin Business Improvement District (BID) is excited to host the 2nd Annual Summer Jam Music Festival on July, 5th 2025! Join us for a day of (free) live music, good vibes, and community & family fun—all for your enjoyment. Let the rhythm of summer carry you through to a celebration you won’t want to miss! Musical talent features Blu Kanu, Sean & Ian Okamoto, Tanya Thorne and the Headliner of the evening, Foreign Object.
The music festival location & activities is in Downtown Hayward WI, on Second Street between Main Street and Dakota. Starts at 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The family-friendly event offers free entertainment including four live music acts. Children’s activities include temporary tattoos by BID member Three Tentacles Tattoo Studio, Fun E Business face painting and balloon art, and Tanya Thorne teaching the ukulele to young musicians. The Hayward Lions Club will also be selling festival fare and brews.

said James Netz, president of the Downtown Hayward BID Board and owner of James Netz Photography, Video and DJ. “We hope this family-friendly music festival will be one of many memory-makers for our visitors and locals alike.
A variety of music is scheduled throughout the day:
• 10:30 a.m. — noon: Blū Kanū, an award-winning brother and sister duo
• Noon — 3 p.m.: Sean and Ian Okamoto, playing 1940s to modern music
• 3-5 p.m.: Tanya Thorne, playing an eclectic mix of pop and country from the 40s and 50s to today
• 5-9 p.m.: Headliners Foreign Object, playing top music of the 1970s through the 1990s.
The event is hosted by the Downtown Hayward BID members and key SPONSORS including: Lynn’s Custom Meats & Catering; Enbridge; James Netz Photography, Video and DJ; Scrappy’s Antiques; West’s Hayward Dairy; Hi Ho Silver; Advanced Printing; Three Tentacles Tattoo Studio; Northwest Wi Realty Team; Northview Eye Associates; and Northwoods Art.
It’s a day of family fun filled with live music, shopping in downtown, sipping, eating, face painting, balloons, chalk art, and temporary tattoos in our charming downtown district. Bring your chairs, stay all day and let’s celebrate. Plan your 4th of July week and weekend in Hayward WI!
