Sounds of Summer ~ JULY Music Series Highlights

Sounds of Summer - July Music in Downtown Hayward WIThe Downtown Hayward Business Improvement District’s SOUNDS OF SUMMER Offers Performances at Rotating Locations in July

Downtown Hayward’s Business Improvement District is alive with music all summer long and in July, five talented groups entertain throughout the Sounds of Summer music series. New talent performs each Wednesday from 3 – 5 p.m. at locations rotating throughout the district. Each performance happens rain or shine, moving inside during inclement weather. “We’re offering our visitors a ‘hump day’ launch for the weekend fun and are proudly spotlighting several of the district’s patios and decks where diners can gather while listening to the fantastic talents,” says James Netz, president of the BID Board and owner of James Netz Photography, Video and DJ.

After almost 20 years of wandering, from Baku to Berkeley, Anchorage to Ankara, Sonofmel brings the foreign home to the familiar, piling prodigal wanderings and fistfuls of chords into spoken word, stories, and song.

A Hayward native now residing in Cable, David is an acoustic singer-song writer who plays a wide variety of music from the 50s to present day.
