Riverbrook Bike & Ski is co-owned by Cindy Smith and Tim Swift, both highly accomplished athletes with deep ties to the Hayward outdoor community.

Cindy Smith, co-owner, brings over 30 years of retail experience and is an elite cross-country skier and multisport athlete. She is an active BID Board Member, Race Coordinator for the Shamrock Shuffle, a CAMBA board member, and a cross-country ski coach for Birkie ski clinics and the local women’s youth high school team. Cindy is widely recognized for her leadership, mentorship, and commitment to growing outdoor participation in the community.

Tim Swift, co-owner, is a former professional road cyclist and professional inline skater, a national-level competitor, mountain bike race enthusiast, and elite-level cross-country skier. Tim gives back to the community as Head Coach for the Hayward Mountain Bike Team and a coach for CAMBA Kids, sharing his experience and passion with the next generation of athletes.

Together, Cindy and Tim have created a welcoming, boutique-style shop offering a wide variety of premium brand-name apparel and gear for both women and men—backed by real-world knowledge and a genuine love for the sport.
