For 25 years, Hayward Mercantile LLC has been a cherished part of Downtown Hayward, welcoming generations of families through its doors. For many, a trip to Hayward simply isn’t complete without stopping at the Mercantile. It’s become a tradition—one that has created lasting memories for locals, seasonal homeowners, and visitors who return year after year.
What began as Truly Wisconsin cheese & gift shop evolved into one of the Northwoods’ premier specialty kitchen, gourmet store and shopping destination. While its reputation was built on quality cookware and kitchen essentials, today Hayward Mercantile offers an experience that inspires gathering, entertaining, cooking, gifting, and celebrating life’s special moments.

Over the past quarter century, Hayward Mercantile has grown far beyond a kitchen store.
