Spring Sip & Shop Shining Success!
The Downtown Hayward Business Improvement District (BID) Hosted A
Spring Sip & Shop Event on May 2nd
Over 35 merchants in the Downtown Hayward Business Improvement District (BID) were open and welcomed shoppers into their businesses as a highlight to the spring season with new arrivals of merchandise, apparel and decor. Live music performed by John Sonofmel winding his way through the district created a celebratory evening for one and all. Participating businesses offered one-day-only shopping deals, happy hour and menu specials, surprise treats and snacks, plus a dozen businesses hosted a few sips until the 7 o’clock hour.
Participating businesses included: 3 Fly Sisters, Ahlgren’s Boutique, Angler’s Bar & Grill, Art Beat of Hayward, Birkie Store, Firehouse Bakery & Deli, Glik’s, Good Knight’s Bar, Hayward Mercantile Co., Hi Ho Silver, James Netz Photography, Lake Kids, Lori’s Cards & Gifts, Lures of the North, Lynne Marie’s Candies, Main Street Taco, Moccasin Bar, Nordic Northwoods, Northwest WI Realty Team, Northwoods Humane Society Thrift Shop, Out of the Woods Winery, Outdoor Ventures, River & Rain Boutique, Riverbrook Bike & Ski, Ronning’s, Sweetgrass & Sage, Scrappy’s Antiques, Silver Star Market, Three Tentacles Tattoo Studio, TNTs Sports Bar & Grill, Titus Aveda Salon, Urban Trek and Ventures Unlimited Unique Boutique & Thrift Shop.
At the conclusion of the event (at 7pm) participants met at Angler’s bar & Grill for the nightly drawing of the Sip & Shop Passport participation fun. Nearly $1,000 worth of donated prizes are provided by area businesses including: 3 Fly Sisters, Backroads Coffee, Glik’s, Grey’s Barber Shop, Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce, Hi Ho Silver, James Netz Photography, Lori’s Card & Gift, Lures of the North, Lynn Marie’s Candies, Nordic Northwoods, Out of the Woods Winery, Outdoor Ventures, River & Rain, Silver Star Market, Sweetgrass & Sage, Titus Salon, True Form Fitness, Urban Trek and Wilde Gifts & Goods.
