We are a volunteer staffed Thrift Shop supporting the Northwoods Humane Society of Sawyer County. The Thrift Shop is located one block off Main Street in Hayward, WI and it is FABULOUS! It is the largest source of income for the Shelter. NHS has purchased the building and has greatly expanded the space. It is FULL of wonderful items and offers easily accessible parking. The Thrift Shop is always in need of items to sell to keep our inventory fresh. Please keep us in mind when spring cleaning, remodeling, moving or just decluttering a space, we have boutique items (clothing for women and men, plus some shoes). Also they have a wide assortment of household dishes, serving platters, cups, glasses, cookware, pots, pans, electronic devices, vases, lots of books, some toys, trinkets, jewelry, seasonal decor, pictures, frames, odds and ends, wrap and gifting items etc.

Out of the Woods Winery is a MacLaughlin Family collaboration. They carry a selection of wine, cider and mead from wineries in Wisconsin and all over the world. If you are a fan of the ol’ HookStone red wines, we bottled the last of the Panfish Port-style Wine; once it’s gone it’s gone! We’ve made a selection of whites, fruit wine, meads and ciders, all in bottles and available to taste and purchase. They offer flights of ciders, wines, beer, & wine slushies to try a few of their sampling bests. Stop in and check out our take on life's simple pleasures: Good Company and Craft Drinks. They also feature an onsight art gallery with different artists featured every couple of months and also have live entertainment throughout the year.
