Ahlgren’s Moda Boutique located on Hayward’s historic Main St. was founded by Mika Ahlgren. Mika was born in Croatia and grew up in Chicago where she met her husband Brian. The couple moved to Brian’s quaint yet bustling hometown of Hayward in 1994 with a wish to raise their children in a tight knit, small town community.

Mika’s degree and background in interior design gave her the inspiration to pursue her own business in home accessories. In 1999 her dream came true when she opened her first retail shop filled with beautiful home décor.  Mika’s business model has evolved over the years from home accessories to now focusing on offering fashion forward affordable woman’s clothing, accessories and gifts.
